The original and classic design by Paul Henningsen, now superseeded by the PH 50 to celebrate the designs 50th anniversary. The original is designed for use with a 200w lamp, although is suitable for low energy alternative, the inside of the shade is coated red to warm the colour of the diffused light.

Concept
PH 5 provides glare-free lighting. The design of the visible reflectors directs light both vertically and horizontally. The inside cone is painted red, and together with the small blue reflector, it creates a warm tone of light.
