Modular Pendant Lamp Shade

Amazing geometry in this modular lamp shade designed in 1972 by Holger Strom. It really lives up to its name as you might find a glass or two of wine and an evening on the sofa may be needed to build some of the designs, depending on how adventurous you choose to be.
If you get bored with this light shade, just pull it down and make a new one!

Concept
The IQlight lighting system is based on single interlocking modules and can be formed to more than 21 different lampshade designs - even your own creation… The broad range of possibilities of the IQlight lighting system can satisfy different personalities, needs and desires

Kit contents
One kit contains 30 x IQ modules, a practice sheet, manual, poster showing the range and shapes possible

Material
The modules are made of translucent white PVC, which is virtually unbreakable and very easy to clean. when assembled to an interlocking shape the system can be used to shade a standard bulb and socket

Dimensions
Each kit produces a standard module diameter of 30cm (IQ 75), 40cm (IQ 100), 50cm (IQ 125), 60cm (IQ 150), 70cm (IQ 175) or 80cm (IQ 200).

Up to 4 kits of the same size can be combined to create larger shades.
